Phillips hosts A Night of Heroes: The Sun Military Awards

3rd December 2013

Phillip and Amanda Holden will be hosting A Night of Heroes: The Sun Military Awards at London’s National Maritime Museum on Wednesday 11 December.

Also known as The Millies, the awards recognise the excellence and sacrifice made by Britain’s Armed Forces, presenting ten awards to celebrate outstanding performances and contributions in the military.

The awards have been judged by a panel which includes celebrity judges Jeremy Clarkson, Andy McNab, Holly Willoughby and Lorraine Kelly supported by four former military chiefs; General Sir Mike Jackson, Admiral Lord West, Field Marshal Lord Guthrie and Air Chief Marshal Sir Peter Squire.

Since inception in 2008 The Millies have become one of the most important events dedicated to honouring the immeasurable contribution made by the Servicemen and women who serve Britain at home and abroad. The lavish star-studded evening has become established in the annual events calendar.

The Millies will be broadcast on ITV, Monday 16th December at 9pm.
