Dancing on Ice news 05.02.12

This week's Dancing on Ice opened with great perofrmance from One Direction and the professional skaters, headed up by Torvil and Dean.
Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter stole the show with her performance of Britney Spears 'Baby One More Time'. Jorgie and professional ice partner scored 24 points out of a possible 30.
Louie commented on Jorgie's performance saying "You gave it elegance, you gave it grace, but you also gave it finesse there."
With Mathew Wolfenden and partner Nina Ulanova weren't far behind scoring 23. Mathew shook off back problems to impress the judges with his performance to 'The Look of Love' by ABC
Dallas' actress, Charlene Tilton who dubber herself 'Suzie Skate-off' after ending up in the bottom two for the last two weeks, ended up at the bottom of the pile for another week and was joined by TV presenter Sam Nixon in this weeks skate off. Chalene and ice partner Matthew Gonzalez performed a routine to Lady Gaga and Sam and Alexandra skated to Wham.
Charlene was voted off after the skate off however she said "I feel all right. I've had the most amazing experience. I've worked with the best wardrobe, hair and make up department I've ever worked with"
Judge Louie insisted “There’s definitely a fight on between Matthew, Sebastien, Chico and Jorgie. These people are really showing that they’ve got enormous potential.”
The judges also had great things to say about Heidi's routine, even though it was a simple routine, Louie said it was 'beautiful and refined'
