The 12 remaining couples in Dancing On Ice 2012 faced their toughest challenge on last night’s competition. The first big twist of this series, each couple performed a joint routine with the one who had finished closest to them on the judges' scoreboard last Sunday as they skated in pairs in a bid to win immunity from the public vote.

In the first major twist of the series, each couple performed a joint routine with the pair who had finished closest to them last Sundays scoreboard. This saw favourites Matthew Wolfenden and Jorgie Porter going head to head in the duel!

The judges then chose their favourite couple from each routine, which saved one pair from each duel automatically sending them through to next week's show. Leaving each duel loser up for the public vote.

Chico went first up against Sam Nixon, with all three of the judges decided that Chico's performance to Queen’s Under Pressure was the stronger one.

Sébastien and Brianne battled it out with Jennifer and Daniel, again all three judges came to the same verdict and Sébastien was saved.

Chemmy and Sean were also saved by all the judges after duel with Corey & Brooke. Charlene and Matthew lost to Heidi and Andrei in the fourth round.

The favourites to win Jorgie Porter and Matthew Wolfenden went head to head in the duel and the judges options were split, however Louie and Robin voted for Matt to stay sending Jorgie into the public vote.

Rosemary and Mark beat Andy and Vicky in the final duel by two votes to one.

This ment that Sam, Jennifer, Corey, Charlene, Jorgie and Andy all faced the public vote, with Corey being the next contestant to leave Dancing on Ice,.
