There isn’t usually time for a mid-week blog, but I thought this deserved special mention. I finally managed to get Gino D’Acampo on Twitter. It’s taken me weeks to convince him he should and then weeks to teach him how to do it!
I had to set the site up for him myself, and then refer him to the Twitter help page on this site, even then he doesn’t really know how it works, but he’s a very quick learner and I think @ginofantastico should be a fun follow. I’m watching carefully for the first tweet he sends from home without help, that will be a very proud moment as he flies un-aided from the Twitter nest into the great unknown, and like his first day at school we will watch with pride as he posts his first picture
Here’s the moment when he sent his first tweet from the ITV This Morning studio:
Actually it was odd setting up the new account, it has sat for about a fortnight, completely silent and undiscovered, not a single follower, all very lonely.

However 1 mention on TM and a timely tweet and at the time of writing this he’s on 9,662 followers. Right, who’s next? Phil Vickery, your turn?!
