70’s Night!

February 1st, 2010

We love a good theme night on Dancing on Ice, especially the 70’s.

Don’t think it’s just the skaters who dress up, you’d be amazed how many of the crew get involved, none more so than our brilliant makeup department who stuck glittery transfers on anyone who stood still long enough (I didn’t!!)

Someone on Twitter asked what we do during the commercial breaks?

Well, it’s the job of our brilliant warm-up guys to keep the audience fired up and frantic…. that occasionally spills over, with the aid of a good singalong, to me! Also this week I spent most of the breaks trying out my new method of transport! What’s the point of a toy if you can’t have a play?!

And Donutgate was finally resolved, gone was the chocolate and custard, back was the jam. All is right with the world.
