The “beef” clip is probably one of the funniest things I have ever watched on television! I literally cry with laughter every time I watch it…Phil and Fern have never lost complete control like that before or since that particular show! BRILLIANT!

Sad that Fern is moving on will really miss her..hope she finds happiness in all that she does…she`s brigthened up my day for a long time…and phillip if you need help in the mornings just call me ..Good luck fern and hubby phill AND best of luck phillip (come back gordan all is forgiven). love cas

Fern please don’t go your my sons second mum as soon as he hears you he settles, he had a bad start to live, suffered a lot with colic an then acid reflux but as soon are fern came on he would go quit and sorry go to sleep peacefully…..don’t go you’ll be missed.

When I retired I looked forward each day to watching the two of you together, as I like a good laugh to break up a tiring day. Fern and Phil ARE This Morning and without the partnership I’m not sure if I’ll bother too much with it. Fern, you’re the person I’d most want as a best friend and next door neighbour. I honestly feel quite tearful that I won’t be able to see you four days a week. However, that’s me being totally selfish and I wish you and your lovely husband and children every joy and happiness. You deserve it.

I have taken early retirement from teaching and watch the show every day. So sad to hear that Fern is leaving. It won’t be the same without her, she is such a lovely lady. Fern and Phillip, the masters of one liners, double meanings, and the eye contact before you both burst out in fits of giggles, like a couple of naughty school children.
It took a long time before Richard and Judy’s replacements were filled, many of them did not gel at all, not until Fern and Phillip, and now another great partnership is coming to a close.
It is so sad but if Fern has her reasons then so be it, it will be very hard to find a replacement for her and for me it just won’t be the same.
Whatever you do Fern I am sure you have the nations best wishes with you, enjoy your family, your life, and whatever projects that come in the future. x

Can’t believe our favourite duo will be no more! This Morning will never be the same without the two of you together. I wish Fern would reconsider, but if she has to go I wish her great happiness and good forture in whatever she decides to do next.

It will not be the same without Fern, Its not going to sound the same no matter who your new partner is. To say “Phil and Fern” is like saying “Egg and Bacon” “Tea and Toast” such a comforting sound.

Who ever replaces her will have some big shoes to fill,( I don’t mean that Fern has big feet either )

i feel i have more or less grown up with Phil (Broom cupboard and Gordon!) and its always a pleasure to turn on the TV when hes on the partnership with Fern will never be bettered.Having had three children over the last nine years Philip and later Philip and Fern have got me through many a morning!I have cried and laughed with them both,i have admired the way they talk with their guests sometimes tackling extremely emotive subjects but always professional.I really really will miss Fern but im glad Phils still going to be easing me into the day! I am so gutted. I love your giggling fits so much - sometimes they keep me smiling for the whole day. I think Fern will be a hard act to follow but I’d like to nominate Coleen Nolan. She’s a scream and would get on brilliantly with Phil (she fancies the pants off him apparently!)

it is a big shame fern is leaving, i had a good few years laughing and nearly going into labour on many occasion when i was carrying my twins, when i was at my lowest after having them , you both just brought me back up, i will miss her most for her understanding of what life is really like for woman that have had postnatal depression to weight loss. will miss you fern xxx

You two belong together, I really hope you can work on something new together soon, as it would be tragic to loose this fantastic working partnership. Phil I wish you luck with your new partner in September, they certainly don’t have an easy job, as unfortunately they will be compared to Fern. I do feel for the new person, but you’ll sort them out and make them comfortable, I’m sure!

philip and fern have cheered many a morning up for me, thier partnership on daytime tv will be missed greatly, i hope that fern gets family time and that she is not away from our screens too long, iam glad that philip is staying on and look forward to seeing who his new this morning partner is, holly would be a brill choice but i guess she is already very busy with a new baby, x factor and DOI - look forward to watching this morning till july for all the laughter and tears with phil and fern.
